Email Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

This position will report to the Senior Director, Marketing and will be responsible for building and optimizing NJPAC’s email campaigns, as well as tracking and reporting campaign progress as well as finding opportunities to increase engagement and ultimately, desired customer behavior.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Email Marketing & Automation:

● Lead execution of email marketing campaigns through Pardot to promote all events.

● Maintain the schedule of email campaigns across the institution with various department needs and determine the flow of promotions.

● Manage the company’s Pardot institutional marketing automations and Engagement Studio customer journeys.

● Create automation journeys to engage customers in new and innovative ways for the institution.

Analytics:

● Analyze & report on audience behavior and conversion funnels within NJPAC’s email ecosystem; set benchmarks and optimize for growth.

● Compile data to understand and drive ongoing improvements in customer engagement programs for the email marketing platform.

● Report on weekly email statistics summary to the team and improve engagement and click through rate that enhance conversions.

● Send regular updates about key analytics data as it relates to email campaigns.

Coordination & Teamwork:

● Communicate effectively with project stakeholders/requesters regarding needed requirements, milestones, due dates and email deployments

● Work closely with the Digital Marketing team and other partners to create and execute digital marketing initiatives.

● Attend meetings for various departments to determine their email needs and provide information on the schedule of promotions

● Utilize project management tool to ensure accuracy and work with team on approvals

● Stay current with industry trends and advise the team on best practices.

● Assist with web updates and other digital tasks when applicable

Skills and Experience Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

● 2-3 years of experience with e-mail marketing and digital operations.

● Knowledge and/or experience with Salesforce Pardot (or comparable email marketing provider, i.e. Mailchimp, Pardot, Constant Contact), Wrike (or comparable project management system), Google Analytics and Ads, and WordPress.

● Understanding of emerging digital marketing concepts, platforms, and tools, including best practices in email marketing automation and personalization, and analytics related to email campaigns and their engagement.

● Exceptional time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and communicate shifting timelines and objectives, and manage multiple projects concurrently.

● Excellent oral and written communicator

● Familiar with email marketing best practices

● Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs

● Passion for Digital Marketing, online advertising, and live entertainment preferred

NJPAC requires all employees to be fully vaccinated (including booster vaccination) for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Proof of vaccination is required prior to applicant’s first day of work.
